Tea Time and Sewing

 Tea Time and Sewing, Why they go together. 

Ok so hang with me a moment.  I have an obsession with tea trays and artful sewing. It's because they are both experiences. I love an experience. Sure you can microwave a cup of water throw in a tea bag and there is your tea. Now look at this differently. Take your water and boil it on your stove in a teakettle.Take the time to choose the cup and teapot that speak to you. Now think of a tea that will get you to the place you want to get to in your mind. Maybe it's a vacation, a nap, a project you are working on, or just centering yourself.

 That takes too much time? Exactly!!! This is time for you. and the outcome will be something you need. A reset, a healing or even just a second wind.  By the way, none of this has to be super expensive or fancy. Most of my tea ware comes from antiques and flea markets. I feel the same way about my artful sewing. Yes having a finished project is great, but the experience to get there is by far my favorite.
