Inspiration

 

How do I get inspired?

Sometimes I get the inspiration from my own experiences. I rented a home that was actually a little farmhouse and they had 2 cows right up by the house. They had fields they could roam but they were so sweet and loved people, that they hung by the front of the home. 

Staying at this little farm was a needed break from a very stressful time in my life. I found this fabric and made a quilt and some pillows. I kept the quilt!  ( it happens) Every time I use it I think of those beautiful sweet cows just loving their life. Sometimes a little escape from your life is needed.

Sometimes when I am sewing it is a tribute to a feeling, a place or just a past moment.
